1. Phantasy Star (Sega Master System) This game was years before its time. Amazing graphics and 3d dungeon mechanics unseen from any video game even a decade after it was released. It surpassed the expectations of what was expected from a console game when video games were still young. I believe that this game paved the way for a higher standard in video game development and still remains to be the most remarkable and nostalgic experience I can recall from my entire video gaming experience. None of the games in the entire Phantasy Star series even come close.

2. World of Warcraft (PC) This game provided some of the best times I’ve had online. No doubt that the fan base would agree that this game is on their list of favorite games. No game has since provided so many great memorable moments. For the over all community game experience, it is among the best games every created.

3. Street Fighter II (Arcade) This game kept the video gaming market alive by electrifying arcades around the globe. SF2's popular demand soon inspired the port to Genesis and Super Nintendo. The speed, game mechanics and graphics were unmatched and helped to usher a new standard in video gaming.

4. Diablo 3 (PC/Xbox One) I wasted away countless hours playing this game. Loot, loot and more loot. Amazing cut scenes and an addictive quality that is almost unnatural. I’ve returned to this game more times than any other I’ve played. The re-play value alone earns this game the right to be on my top 5.

5. Knights of the Old Republic (XBox) This game's story was one of the best of its kind at the time. It was so good that Disney is considering making the next Star Wars series after it. The story experience gave an unexpected twist that hadn't yet been seen in video gaming at the time or even since. The game itself is quite dated but the nostalgia lives on.
